About me
Bio
UK based.
2018-2021: Studying Special Makeup Effects for Film an Television at the University of Bolton.
2016-218: Studied Production and Performance Art at Stratford upon Avon college.
From the age of nine, trying to make gore effects was a huge interest of mine; any makeup media available to me was tried. That was until the age of fifteen, where I finally acquired my first special effects materials.
Once at college, I was able to combine makeup and SFX, but remained self taught until the age of eighteen when I began studying BDes (Hons) Special Makeup Effects for Film and TV at Bolton University. I have not long graduated, receiving a 1st class (hons), and these past three years have been the most valuable academic experience of my life. This subject has always been my biggest passion and I am now getting the opportunity to not only develop my skills, but also try new things and take risks in me creative work; this has been invaluable to my development.
My skills are routed in a variety of special effects areas such as different types of mould making, pastiche/hair work, sculpting, applying prosthetics, and have been experimenting with concepting using Zbrush as having a working knowledge of digital creative method is becoming increasingly important.
I have a particular interest towards specialising in making life like prosthetic limbs and facial prosthetics for both the medical field and the film/TV industry. However, being eager to continue developing and learning new skills, I remain willing to try anything and look forward to seeing where my future career takes me.
